If you are looking for inexpensive and decent Hispanic food, this is the place! I think their portions are great and the food is good for the cost!

I cannot believe the lady at the register was so rude to my family, horrible attitude, she pretended she couldn't understand, I guess she needs more training in customer service and English, the place was dirty and not very appealing, 1st and last time in here

We tried this place today... as i mentioned before this is more like a peruvian fast food restaurant (you come, pay, wait for your food, receive it on a tray and you take it to your table).... The food is good, not great or excellent, but take into account most of it is less than 12 bucks... and the portions are huge!! (I couldn't finish my "lomo saltado") As I read from someone; they could use better meat, but again you get what you pay for ;) It was busy today and even they have a parking lot for at least 12 cars, it was hard to find a place... maybe Im in the wrong business and should put a restaurant, hello investors! Good, big portions and cheap, so don't take your girlfriend there if ur trying to impress her...

The quality of the meat went down since they opened. They put a lot of onions vs. steak in the entrees now. The flavor is still there in the sauce. I ordered take out and asked for 2 sauces and they only put one tiny green sauce for my steak order!!The people at the register treat you like their giving you the food for free. Huge attitude, hello I'm your customer don't treat me like cattle!!! Note: please ask for the sauces until they give you your take-out food in the bag! Their green sauce is non-spicy an gives the meat good flavor the red sauce is a bit spicier and the white sauce us mayo based.

La Granja... I have passed you by so many times and did not know how delicious you were! Major NOMMAGE going on here. Every single time. You cannot go wrong. It's like Pollo Tropical to the 5th power! Now my stomach is growling! I just WISH your seating wasn't so awkward!

Best value Latin food in NMB. I seriously love this place. Incredible flavor and quality for a great price with serious portions. Me and my gf love the sandwiches best. The rotisserie chicken is great too.

I'd passed La Granja for quite a while before I decided to stop in to grab a bite. I've only experienced the grilled half chicken but I gotta tell ya, it puts Pollo Tropical's chicken to shame any day! The chicken is well-seasoned, well-cooked, tender, and juicy. And the sauces that they have to accompany the chicken are awesome as well. There's an kinda onion-y yellow sauce, another sauce that looks like salsa but tastes WAAAAAAAAAY better, and a few other sauces. Just so you know, the place is not that large and they have indoor seating, so chances are, if you go to grab take out, you're going to booty-whop somebody while trying to order, and if you dine in, you'll have someone's ass in your face at some point while they wait to order. Enjoy!

It must not be good to go when its really packed. The food was eh. Had the $28 family meal for 3 people. Meat was too chewy and the pork was not fully cooked. Chicken was the only highlight at that was mediocre at best.

Love this place for lunch or takeout when I'm not in a cooking or eating out mood for dinner. Boneless breast with black beans and rice with fried plantains combo is my go to every time.

Cheap chicken, rice, and beans and much better quality than the Pollo Tropical one block away. Unfortunately, the quarter-chicken has been shrinking as of late.

Yummy. Super filling. Cheap. There's so many of these Granjas in South Florida and I was so excited when they opened one by my house. Large portions and so good. It's right next to Pollo Tropical but I so much rather come here. I ordered the #5 here, which is grilled steak with plantains, rice & beans, and a drink. All that for under $10! How crazy! yelp.com/biz_photos/la-g… The steak wasn't dry at all and cooked exactly like I wanted it. You can ask for how well you want it cooked. Everything was delicious, like to the point where I was super full but couldn't stop eating. As Louie CK said, I ate to the point where I hated myself lol. It's a small-ish place. Maybe fits about 20-30 people max. There's 2 TVs inside which always has some type of sport on - usually soccer hahaa. I like that they have a section off to the side where you can get all your own condiments, napkins, onions, sauces, etc. Besides me, my mom loves this place. She's probably been here more than I have. If I was actually around home more, I'd definitely be a regular.

Ordered a dish that is cooked with tomatoes and they forgot the tomatoes. When I took it back to them they just threw raw tomatoes on top of it and were at a loss when I asked them to refun my money because I didn't want to eat this dish that is supposed tk have cooked tomatoes with the raw tomatoes they threw on top. And she said "it's only tomatoes" I would question how food is handled at a place with people in that mind set running it. Horrible service. Didn't get to try the food. Complete waste of time.

You want a bang for you buck? Well, this is the place. The portions are huge and the authenticity of this place is quite evident by both the workers and the patrons. Think of this place as better and cheaper Pollo Tropical with a Peruvian twist. The hubby and I wanted something to eat, but nothing too big so we opted for La Granja since they had a pretty decent special ($3.99 for chicken, rice and beans), but it was not available during the weekends. So I opted for the next best thing. I got the 1/4 chicken, rice, beans, sweet plantains, and fried yuca. Brian opted for the Chupe de mariscos, which is a seafood broth with all sorts of sea monsters. Brian's seafood soup was delectable, it had octopus, scallops, fish, shrimp, and calamari. You can't go wrong with this treat. The chicken that I ordered was also delicious, it was perfectly cooked and juicy thoughout , not a bit of meat was dry. The sweet plantains were excellent and the yuca was delicious. Also you want to try the sauces they have at the table, the creamy garlic cilantro sauce was perfect with the fried yuca. Anyway, I absolutely loved this place and look forward to coming back.

It's a good place to get Latino food. The fried pork sandwich was excellent. The fried yucca not so much, but, I am use to different preparation. Not 5 stars because the kitchen noise and smoke was undesirable. All the sauces! No shortage including sauces with onions and jalapeños!

So this is my second time here. First time the chicken wasn't cooked enough. Second I found this hair in my Fish fillet today. Very disgusting! There's no excuse for this and I will like my money back

Was in the area for lunch and needed a quick bite. Avoided the fish, as it was fried, went with the half chicken with rice, beans, and fried plantains with a side of sautéed onions. Way too much chicken for one person's lunch, a quarter would have been sufficient but it was all around a yummy, quick, high value pit stop. No frills, just great roticerie chicken, beans, and plantains. The raw onion bar is nice too for some extra flavor. Also, I don't recommend the side of onions. It was overkill. Extra half star for the unexpected yumminess of this respectable roadside joint.
